Our main focus was to create high functioning cosmetic products that performed beautifully and we're safe for both our consumers and our environment! Even though most ingredients used in the cosmetics industry are generally safe, various studies have shown that there are a few ingredients (especially the ones we have chosen to omit) that may have negative side effects when used in cosmetic products.
These negative side effects can range from person to person, so we at Roes want to air on the side of caution and omit ingredients that could possibly harm you whether it be now or in the future (as there has been little to no research on the long-term side effects). If you're interested in reading up more about the potential side effects and ingredients we do and don't use, check out our Ingredient Breakdown page!
We’ve also chosen to use clean ingredients that are not toxic pollutants to our environment and planet!
There is a lot of research out there on toxic ingredients and the standards of clean beauty that can all be very confusing and overwhelming so we've selected a few studies and articles that were pivotal in our research for you to check out!
